Religious Trauma Process Group

If religion attempted to shame you, you are in the right place

This weekly group is a space for adults who have been hurt by religious teachings, communities, or leaders. Those early messages don’t simply stay in the past. They can continue to shape the choices we make as adults, how we love and form relationships, and how we see ourselves, often leaving behind a deep layer of shame we never chose.

LGBTQ+ people are often targeted by this kind of harm, and this group is LGBTQ+ affirming. Together we’ll explore how these experiences still show up in our lives and begin to loosen their hold.

Each week we’ll virtually for meet for 90 minutes in an open, drop-in format, so you can join when it works for you. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to, and no one’s story, identity, or spiritual path is judged. Our aim is a space of safety, respect, and connection where you can be heard, find support make sense of your experiences, and move toward healing.
