OVERVIEW
Couples Therapy in Los Angeles
Couples therapy is a space to slow down, understand each other more deeply, and find your way back to connection, together.
THE OVERVIEW
What is couples therapy?
Couples therapy offers a supportive space for you and your partner to slow down, understand each other more deeply, and untangle the patterns that keep pulling you apart.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help partners see how their past experiences show up in the relationship, so conflict becomes something you can work through together instead of against each other.
A space where both of you can feel heard, rebuild trust, and find your way back to connection, without blame and without needing to have it all figured out.
WHO ITS FOR
Who is couples therapy for?
Whether navigating a specific challenge or seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy offers a supportive space to work through life’s difficulties.
Common reasons couples seek therapy:
Communication difficulties
Recurring conflicts or unresolved disagreements
Trust issues or rebuilding after betrayal
Emotional distance or feeling disconnected
Major life transitions affecting the relationship
Differences in needs, expectations, or future goals
THE PROCESS
What to expect:
-
In our first sessions, I'll get to know each of you and the story of your relationship, including what's working, what feels stuck, and what brought you here now. We'll also look at how each of your histories might be showing up between you.
-
Together, we'll name what you each hope will feel different, and find the goals you share as a couple. This gives our work a clear direction, while leaving room for it to shift as you grow.
-
In session, I'll guide you through new ways of talking and listening, so you can slow down the patterns that usually lead to conflict or shutdown. The goal is for both of you to feel heard, even when you don't agree.
-
Along the way, we'll regularly pause to reflect on what's shifting in your relationship and what still feels hard. Your feedback helps shape where we go next, so the work keeps serving you both.
